Everyone. Sandlot Social is built for every skill level — from first-timers who’ve never held a bat to serious baseball and softball players looking to sharpen their swing. Our suites use the same pro-level technology found in real training facilities, so the experience scales to you.

Yes — Sandlot Social offers family-friendly gameplay for all ages. That said, we’re also a sports bar that serves alcohol and is designed primarily as a social entertainment venue. Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
Beginning at 8 p.m., Sandlot Social shifts to a more adult-oriented atmosphere, and some events may be 21+.
Each suite holds up to 8 guests total: 6 players plus 2 additional viewers. For the best experience, we recommend a maximum of 6 players per bay so everyone gets plenty of swings. Groups larger than 6 should reserve multiple bays.
Of course. You can order from our full bar and kitchen whether you’re in a batting suite mid-session, posted up in the dining area, or parked at the bar. The menu covers small plates, shareable apps, and entrees, plus local brews and craft cocktails to keep things interesting.
We recommend arriving 15 minutes before your reservation to check in, get settled, and order food or drinks. Because we have reservations booked after yours, your session still ends at its originally scheduled time. Arriving on time helps you get the most gameplay.

Not at all. We have a full-service bar and restaurant with dining tables, high-tops, and extended bar seating, all with a great view of KC’s biggest screen. The dining and bar areas are separate from the batting suites, no reservation required. Come in, grab food and drinks, and catch the game.
Reservations are strongly recommended. Walk-ins are welcome when space is available, but a reservation guarantees your spot — especially on weekends and during big sporting events.
Suites can be booked in 60-, 90-, or 120-minute sessions. We recommend 90 minutes as the sweet spot:

Nope — reservations are only for the batting suites. If you’re coming in for dinner, drinks, or to catch a game on the biggest screen in KC, just show up anytime during business hours. First come, first served.
Easy — parties of up to 20 can book online and we’ll handle the rest. We’ll make sure you have enough space and keep your group in adjacent suites so everyone stays together.
If you have already reserved your date and time and need to make adjustments you can do so through your confirmation email. If you are unable to do so through the reservation email please call our team or send in an inquiry. We will assist you with changing arrival times, headcount, reserved time, etc. If there are any other details about your upcoming reservation we should know, we’d love to hear from you.
Yes. Unlike entertainment concepts that rely on tees or pop-up mechanics, our system pitches real balls right to you for a far more immersive experience.
Batting tees are also available for young children or anyone who wants an easier swing.
No. We use specially designed training balls made for simulator play and safety.
Each game in the hitting suite has simple rules you’ll pick up as you start to play. While you’re in the suites, we ask that all guests:
Shoes must be worn at all times throughout the entire facility, including our batting bays. Comfortable, casual clothes are perfect, and athletic wear is great if you plan on swinging a lot. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. Please note that cleats are not allowed.
Nope — we provide the bats, balls and everything needed for a good time.

Yes, and we’re really good at it. Team-building, client entertainment, holiday parties, offsites — Sandlot Social has the space, the food, the drinks, and the competitive energy to make your event one people actually talk about afterward.
For groups up to 24, book online and we’ll keep your bays together. For larger groups — including full venue buyouts for up to 320 guests — contact our events team at events@sandlotsocialkc.com with your headcount and preferred date and time. We’ll build something around you.
For groups of 25 or more, we offer 2-hour venue rentals paired with a customizable buffet menu. Our events team will work with you to put together the right spread for your group.

We do not offer a separate birthday party package or special birthday amenities. Instead, groups can enjoy the same great Sandlot Social experience we offer every day — reserve your hitting suites, order food and drinks from our full menu, and enjoy your time together.
NOT ALLOWED – NO EXCEPTIONS
– Birthday cakes, cupcakes, or outside food and drink of any kind.
– Balloons (get into the ceiling), glitter, taping decorations to walls or equipment, or any other excessive decoration.
– All facility rules must be followed. Including horseplay, yelling/shouting, etc…
Because Sandlot Social is a food and beverage facility, we don’t allow outside food or drinks, including cakes. We try to make this as clear as possible during the booking process with multiple notices, including a prominent notice with each party booking, as well as signage when entering the facility.
Food and beverage sales are also an important part of our business and directly support the staff who take care of our guests, so unfortunately this isn’t a policy we’re able to make exceptions to.
